Modular Solutions for 100% x 100% In-Line Quality Inspection

We at Mapvision offer the fastest in-line inspection system for​ complex components. We are known for fully digital, precise, and reliable measurement of all features on all parts in real-time, and product and process analytics with one integrated solution.

The solutions that are based on our patented multi-camera inspection technology have already resulted in a major change in how quality inspection is managed in the automotive industry. They offer big advantages over the old-school sensor-based inspection products.

But we know we can’t maintain our competitive advantage if we stand still. The development continues and together with our customers, from leading car manufacturers to large part manufacturers and system integrators, we have analysed what could be improved in the hardware parts of our solution.

The result is the new Mapvision Q Series in-line inspection system, offering the unique 100% x 100% inline inspection that we are known for, but now with an upgraded and improved hardware setup.

The most visible changes relate to a new modular frame and enclosure architecture that allows easy adaptation of the system size according to the part size and available floor space. We have also designed a new electric cabinet and display stand that enable more flexible installation and faster setup. In addition to the latest changes introduced with the Q22 hardware release, we have already earlier upgraded many hardware components, from the frame itself to ruggedized optics and camera mountings and shuttle motors. New cameras, computers and shuttle systems improve reliability and enable more power-efficient operations.

All in all, the benefits of the latest HW upgrades of Mapvision Q Series range from a more solid structure and better vibration control to easier installation and maintenance.

Combined with the options, such as Mapvision Absolute Measurement that makes CMM referencing obsolete and the latest Mapvision software solutions like Mapvision Editor Suite that allows you to update the measurement points at any time, the new Mapvision Q Series inspection system is our most advanced in-line inspection system so far.

If you need even more flexibility, for example larger sizes and special loading options that may be needed for example for full body-in-white inspection, the customizable Mapvision C Series inspection system may be the right solution for you.
