We are Mapvision, the eyes of smart factories. To succeed in our mission, we need an Account Manager who is confident on getting deals. You would strengthen our Sales operations in the EMEA region.


What would your work include as an Account Manager?

As a Mapvision Account Manager, you are at the forefront of our company enabling our growth by developing contacts and finalizing opportunities to generate sales. You will dive into the customers’ world by studying their structures and decision-making processes to make sure you find the right people to talk to. We expect you to efficiently communicate our value proposition, negotiate based on customers’ needs and eventually build quotations. You know how to successfully close deals.

Maintaining strong customer relationships is an important part of the Account manager’s role, but you must also have the courage and strength to find new clientele and build the co-operation from scratch. In our business it may take a long time before a new client makes its first order and therefore it also requires patience to play a long game from you. You are the eyes and ears on the market, therefore catching technological opportunities and innovations and communicating them to the organization is expected from you. To support the overall sales development in the organization, active participation in these development activities is encouraged.


What is the team like? Location?

Now we are looking to strengthen our Sales team in the EMEA region, and you will be reporting to the Head of Sales. Currently, the team is based in Germany with two other account managers, but you can be located outside Germany. The location for our new account manager will be decided when the right person is found. In addition to Germany preferred possible locations are France, the Czech Republic or another Eastern European country – in other words, we are flexible with your location, but it is desirable that the location would be close to our existing or potential customers (OEM body shops or Tier 1 manufacturers of structural components for the automotive industry) within EMEA region.

Other sales teams are located in the US and China. Our sales teams work in close cooperation with various other teams within Mapvision, such as our customer awareness & engagement and product management teams.


What do we expect from you?

We appreciate experience from working independently while collaborating smoothly with other teams and stakeholders in an international setting. The ideal candidate has gained experience from sales of technical solutions and shows interested and skilled in learning the intricacies of our technology in order to be able to fluently converse with technically oriented customers.

  • Proven sales experience of technology solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills – you are expected to influence all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive and C-level
  • Customer and value delivery mindset
  • Excellent language skills in English are essential
  • Besides of English you must be a fluent speaker of another language used by our current or potential customers (e.g. German, French, Hungarian, Czech, Russian). Any other language skills in addition to these are considered an advantage
  • Experience from the automotive industry is considered a significant advantage
  • Experience in using some CRM system is an advantage – we currently use HubSpot
